Waterside introduction

Shuiji Yifang was established in 2012 (the word Ji should be written as (stone sacrifice)). It is an ecological garden created by my father who majors in ecological engineering. The purpose of establishing this garden is to create a concept where people and plants can coexist, and to use the actual garden to allow visitors to experience how people and plants can coexist. This garden is divided into three parts. The woodland part maintains the appearance of the original forest, and the flat part is made into a general agricultural zone. The ecological pond and slope in the middle are the ecological environment where my father wants people to experience the coexistence of humans and plants.

The concept of designing this garden is mainly to use ecological construction methods; Permaculture and Japanese garden design concepts. There are also various subtropical plants in the garden, most of which are native to Taiwan. The most recommended time is around the beginning of May, which is the iris season. Taiwan probably doesn’t have such dense iris blooming landscapes.

For friends who come to this garden, it is recommended for those who really like plants. Here you can see flowers and fruits blooming in all seasons. It is also a large wild botanical garden. You can also feed pheasants, fish, and play land games here. Visitors are required to take a plant tour. You can find many photos of the garden on FB at the link in the upper right corner
