Project Managment Office

Due to the drastic changes in technology and market environment, project management offices have been widely established as permanent organizations by major companies since 2010. However, how the project management office operates and how to assist the company's operations have always been the direction in which each company is working hard. Hilosi has personally studied this field for several years, and also wrote a PMO-related book for MSOL, a professional company that specializes in introducing PMO. I personally also served as a PMO supervisor in a Taiwanese multinational company. You are very welcome to discuss with me issues related to establishing a PMO and improving operational efficiency.

With the Project Management Office as the core, my research topics focus on three major projects. The first is the use of information technology to assist project execution; the second is the introduction of new project management methods with Agile as the core; and the third is international project management techniques.

The technology-assisted project part includes how to link the WBS with the Issue; and automatically reflect it on the Schedule, so that the project manager can know the project status at a glance; and even reports of different dimensions can be made immediately to different stackeholders. It also allows project documents to be automated and connected to the Internet to a certain extent, improving document efficiency and quality. Letting the project manage this is not a burden on the project members but a tool.

Since getting the ACP issued by PMI, I have also devoted myself to studying how to apply agile project management technology in project management. I believe that if the speed of technological advancement remains unchanged or becomes faster, no field will be able to use traditional PMP concepts and methods for projects. Currently, Agile in the software industry has also extended SaFe and DevOps management technologies. This is also one of the things I specialize in.

Due to my language skills, I have encountered relatively many international projects. There are still some technical differences and experience accumulation between international projects and ordinary projects. I also have some personal experiences that I want to share with you.
